Background
Panorama is an integrated, electronic public health records system. The system is used in Provinces and Territories public health organizations by health professionals to support the management of communicable diseases, outbreaks, immunizations and vaccine inventory.
The system is highly functional and designed to mimic other health systems health professionals typically use.
My Role
As a Business Analyst I had several key responsibilities as the project progressed. In early stages I supported the design of the application and testing, during implementation I created transitions plans and data migration strategies.
I also supported testing efforts throughout all modules of the application in order to ensure the quality expectations were met.
The Application
Panorama is connected via an API to multiple government patient databases which allows the user to search for a specific individual located in their province or territory.
The system allows users to create encounters between members of the populate in order to track communicable diseases.
Investigation summaries can be viewed in order to support the tracking of communicable diseases.
Immunization records of the population can also be tracked within the application.
